VLT is the abbreviation for Visible Light Transmission. Visible Light Transmission is the percentage of light that a film and/or glazing allows to pass through.

Each range of window films is made up of several films with different TLVs: 05, 15, 35, etc. The lower the number, the less light the film lets through, the darker it is. Conversely, the higher the TLV (80, 86, 90, etc.), the lighter the film.

Like all adhesives, tinted windows have a drying period (between three and thirty days) which is necessary to obtain the required adhesion on the glass. It is recommended to avoid opening the windows for the first 2 days and not to wash them for the first month. During this process, some normal changes may be observed.
