Having tinted windows installed at Dark Tint Marseille means you can be sure of equipping your vehicle with tinted windows that are 100% compliant with current regulations . We install approved tinted films, in full compliance with the new regulations. Since January 1, 2017 , the decree has set the legal tint on the front windows of vehicles at a maximum of 30% .
This means that tinting your windows is not prohibited either at the front or at the back. However, it is strictly forbidden to completely tint the front windshield!
We have developed unique know-how and exclusive tools to enable our customers to drive with tinted windows that are 100% compliant with regulations while meeting your needs.
WHAT PERCENTAGE IS ALLOWED ON MY FRONT WINDOWS?
According to decree 2016-448, in force since January 1, 2017, it imposes a Visible Light Transmission (VLT) of 70% on the front windows of MOTORIZED vehicles. It is THEREFORE always possible to HAVE the front windows of YOUR vehicle tinted, provided that the total VLT (glass + film) is greater than or equal to 70%!
